Ginseng

Used for centuries in traditional medicine, ginseng is native to North America and Eastern Asia.  Ginseng belongs to thepanax genus (subfamily) which means ‘all healing’ in Greek.  The root is commonly used in Asian medicine, cooking, remedies and even tea as it can help to strengthen the immune system.  

We use siberian ginseng oreleuthero in our products.  This is in the same family as ginseng but it belongs to theeleutherococcus genus rather thanpanax, so isn’t considered a true form of ginseng.  Siberian ginseng is a vital ingredient in our skin care line as high levels of vitamins and antioxidants stimulate the skin’s metabolism, boosting skin-firming collagen to diminish fine lines and wrinkles.
